Writer and Communication Specialist
Morgan Lampman works in communication collaborating with businesses who want to develop and improve their relationship with their audience. Through her educational and professional background in professional writing and communication, Morgan has developed interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism which she uses to create and manage social media and website management and provide external and internal communication support. She has articles published on social platforms such as 4b.World, and has designed and managed websites and social media accounts for organizations such as Frontline to Farm, Born Again Dirt Composting, and High Country Poultry Collaborative. Morgan currently works remotely and is seeking outdoor-related employment opportunities.
Dr. Jiangxue (Ashley) Han, an assistant professor of public relations in Appalachian State University’s Department of Communication, was recently selected as a Kopenhaver Center Fellow for 2021.
Only 42 miles of winding mountain road separates the two institutions where the lives of so many artists have crossed paths over the years. Kevin Warner, professor of dance studies in Appalachian State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance, has been selected as the new Sharpe Chair, a position that works with the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center to provide accessible and quality art and cultural heritage programming to the Alexander County community. Julia De Brocq, a senior interior design major at Appalachian State University from Charlotte, N.C., won third-place in the 2020 PAVE Student Design Competition in collaboration with SketchUp. De Brocq’s award came with a $1,000 cash prize and recognition in official press releases.
